You'd have to be from Fitzgerald to understand how much a person can love a town like this... if you're from here you understand... and if you don't understand, well there's nothing that I could tell you that would make you understand. It's not perfect... it has its faults like all other towns... but it was a great place to grow up and be a part of, especially in the 50's, 60's and 70's. I'm proud to be from Fitzgerald Georgia.
