...On Saturday Aug 22nd Mustafa Akbar's (Nappy Riddems, Fort Knox Five and ESL's Thunderball) 7th annual DC Indie Music Festival, called MuStock, will be held on his ancestral farmland down in Lignum, VA - which is about 30 miles west of Fredericksburg along VA-3..

The 7th Annual MuStock Festival is...

an all day DC Metro indie music grassroots 10 hour concert retreat on a Beautiful landscape with a great stage built on the premises, fantastic sound, 100' tent (rain no problem), overnight camping (folks can come down the night before and can actually stay until Sunday afternoon), portable bathrooms with sanitation stations (for washing hands), fish fry, water, etc.

THE best place to see DC Metro's top Indie Music artist performing live, hands down! And what really makes MuStock especially noteworthy is the fact its oneof one man's labor of love to provide a great show resource for DC Metros hardest working professional indie music artists!

The 7th Annual MuStock Festival is...FREE just as in the 6 years prior except this year were asking

a $20 donation to help cover the production and give a cash payday opportunity supporting the careers of DC Metros finest (undervalued, overworked, and underpaid) working musicians is STRONGLY SUGGESTED! AND GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

MuStock is grassroots run with no corporate or institutional sponsorships, and most definitely a GREEN event! We are going all the way D.I.Y. with it. So, respecting the LAND is a critical responsibility of all who attend. Like our man Kush from V5 say, We gonna be Kings and Queens with it!

So, mind your waste (there will be trash bins around the grounds) and your manners! MuStock is, and has always been, a GOOD VIBES Family friendly event!
