Jemi in the Real World Ep 4 : "The Interview" Part 1/2

EPISODE 4 : The Interview 1/2

Settings: 2008 American Music Awards, Nokia theatre, Los Angeles; Sunday evening

RED CARPET

Joe's POV

We went straight forward to the red carpet right after we bonded with the coolest people alive -- our fans, of course.

And as we step on the carpet, we saw everybody and jawdropped! We're being surrounded by our idols! can you believe that? I know, that sounded a lil absurd but until now I'm still amazed of what our career gives us every single day. We're so much blessed, and if I could only give everyone a very very warm hug, I wont even hesitate. it will be an honor.

"Wow.." My older brother whispered as he looked everywhere. I thought I was the only one amazed. I smirked to him ,"I know."

We remain standing for awhile in this crowded area to pose and wave as we suppose to. But this time, It felt awkward.

I found myself looking everywhere.. searching for someone. I turned a little to my left. and then to my right. People started noticing my anxious moves. I guess I went too obvious. but the truth is, I don't care at all.

"What are you doing, Joe?" Nick's voice startled me. I shrugged my shoulders to answer his question.

I sighed by the thought of not finding "her" anywhere. I want to see her so badly.

I saw Kevin walked near me. "You're looking for her,huh?", He whispered trying to torture me by teasing. I nod stupidly. I know he's going to make fun of me later but really, I dont care. I just want to see her. Now.

So I keep looking everywhere. I turned again to my left.. and then to my right. I paused at the sight. This girl caught my attention. She stood over there, not that far from where I'm standing. She's wearing a simple, white, ruffled dress which made her look so stunning, gorgeous and glowing. Apparently, Im facing her back blocking the chances of knowing who she is then all at once I felt my heart beat faster. And faster. And much faster. Ohmygod. I gulped and took my handkerchief out of my pocket and wiped my sweaty forehead. I glanced at my brothers for a second and then back to the girl. I can't stop staring at her. I need to know who she is so I waited for her to turn around.

....

All of a sudden, she turned around to face this way. And I extremely freaked out.

Oh.
My.
God.

I knew it! I think my heart just skipped a beat the moment I saw her face. everything seemed a blur, and the only thing I saw clearly that moment was "her". Crystal Clear. Yeah you guessed that right, it's her, Demi Lovato. Wait! let me rephrase that, "it's her, the girl of my dreams, Demetria Devonne Lovato." I sighed and smiled slightly by the thought.

She didn't notice me when she turned around so I kept my eyes on her. She looks so damn hot! Ohmygosh, great, now I sound like a girl. but I just melted. I think I just saw a Goddess!

"Joe?" I heard Nick's voice while something moved back and forth infront of my face--the next thing I knew it was just Nick's hand, blocking the beautiful scenery im looking at. I ignored him and kept staring at Demi.

"Earth to Joe Jonas!", Kevin's voice startled me. I jumped and snapped out of my little reverie and looked at him puzzled.

"What?!"

"You never told me that you daydream a lot." He pressed. I ignored him and looked back at Demi.

OHMYFREAKIN'GOD!! I panicked as she gazed around and our eyes met each other. We exchanged a long glance as if we're having a conversation using our eyes. I saw the corner of her lips twitched, forming into a smile. I can't help but smile excitedly. She giggled which made me think of how funny I looked like.

Im about to walk towards her..

"And now Im here with the Jonas Brothers!" Some random guy excitedly approached us from behind me. An interviewer, I guess.

My brothers gave their Hi's and Hello's and flashed their smiles. I sighed silently and did the same. Of course, I have to.

"So you, guys, look so stunning tonight. Mind if you share us who are you wearing?" He asked us with his enthusiasm.

"Thank you. Well, I'm wearing Black Fleece for Brooks Brothers.", Kevin answered laughing and turned his head over to Nick.

"I'm wearing a tweed inspired Ralph Lauren suit." Nick added. He then looked at me and elbowed me to share something about my outfit. I'm not really paying attention, good thing I got alerted.

"Oh! Yeah, well I'm wearing John Varvatos." I said laughing nervously.
