@byronmills thats another one from Doctor Who, as you'll know Roy Skelton who voiced the Daleks also provided the voice for Zippy and George, I do belive he also was the voice for Bill and Ben the flowerpot men

Fact: Zippy's head was made from a rugby ball.
That would explain why he looks like he's got brain damage after having his head kicked in.

"ICFireplace" has gone, but disagree. The latter version wasn't a lot different in format and production values, and time hasn't been kind to those either. Just different people and puppets. This Bungle is hilarious and more entertaining than the later one with the fat head. In this presenter seems slicker and less 'bungling' than poor old Jeffrey. I wouldn't call any Rainbow episode utter shite. That, I would apply to recent CBeebies (etc.) CGI stuff with their uninspired characters and voices.
