Our second delivery from Abel and Cole http://www.abelandcole.co.uk

Box included (roughly):

1. Apples 500g
2. Bananas (Fairtrade) 600g
3. Blood Oranges 475g
4. Carrots 450g
5. Leeks 475g
6. Parsnips 425g
7. Potatoes 775g
8. White Onions 375g

Total = 4075g for £10.95 plus £0.99 delivery plus £1.97 for 800g wholewheat sliced bread, plus £2.29 for 6 eggs brings total to £16.20

  • Quick view on the organic delivery co, they don't have any meats & fish which is fine if you are a vegetarian, more fruit & veg selection than Abel & Cole and they deliver several times a week but I guess drawback is that it's only for London.

  • I thought Riverford was more pricier lol. One thing about Abel & Cole though is that they leave previous customers name and address on the box so if you don't peel off the labels, your details would be circulated to next, next and next customers. I must try the others.

    out of interest, which did you consider to be the best quality and which was the best value? i have tried both the organic delivery co and riverford, but haven't tried abel and cole as it seemed a bit pricier...
