    When people complain there's no good music today they're only partially right. You won't find it on popular radio. MTV has done its best to destroy the soul of original music. But artists from old Lyle to Shelby Lynn, Radiohead, Incognito, Larry Carlton, Jeff Lorber, Craig Chaquico, Eric Johnson, Nora Jones, Stereophonics & many others are out there waiting to be discovered just off the beaten path!

    I find a lot of times it is the backup musicians that really make a set work. Lyle is great for sure but you're right the band is just holding it together like a boss.

    I agree. The billboard charts is a mostly soulless affair that put image first. I mean would JB be popular if he looked like Lyle Lovett did twenty years ago? Please, they wouldn't have even signed him.
