This is a slideshow of my own photo's I took when visiting the Llanberis Slate Musuem, its all part of the Dinorwic Slate Quarry. The equipment you see was used in the quarry during the 19th/20th Century. One of the shots is a pathway that the quarrymen used to get to the quarry in all weathers. I'm always amazed at Industrial size of the quarry and its workers. The shots look good in Black/White I think.
Well worth a visit, the quarry is vast and you can walk up the inclines and see for yourself the workings that still stand. A reminder of the harsh realities these working welsh heroes had to face.
