The White House has been lying about Iraq for some time. During the Iran Iraq war of 8 years the US had sold chemical and biological weapons to Iraq 1985-1989 under Reagan/Bush. May, 1986. The US Department of Commerce licenses 70 biological exports to Iraq between May of 1985 and 1989, including at least 21 batches of lethal strains of anthrax. They also sold arms to Iran-the Iran Contra Affair which sold arms to Iran for the return of 6 American hostages by Hezbollah.

After a 2 day war with Kuwait lies were told to Senate to get the US involved. A fifteen year old girl named Nayirah lied to Senate & told that 312 babies were killed by Iraqi troops that went into hospitals in Kuwait to steal incubators and left the babies on the cold floor to die. She was daughter of Saud al-Sabah a Kuwaiti ambassador to the US. More lies: Iraqi Troop movements were near the border of Saudi ready to invade. Russian satellite photos show no troops present just empty desert.

After Saddam w/drew from Kuwait lies were told that he had a nuclear program & the ALL TRADE EMBARGO remained.  With everything bombed such as oil distribution centers, electrical plants, water plants, and etc they could not rebuild. They were left at 4 % of their electrical capacity. They were left in the dark with cancer prevalent from the nuclear waste fired on their land in way of depleted uranium shells. It was a lie that cost the lives of 1.5 million Iraqis.

The pentagon consistently lies about the hazards of depleted uranium and its connection to the Gulf War Syndrome. Thousand of Medical records of Desert Storm vets disappeared while they complained about GWS. 3250,000 R now disabled and 11,000 R dead as of the year 2000.

They bombed sites of chemical weaponry but also hospitals, schools, water plants, electrical plants & food plants etc. Iraq was left at 4% of its prewar capacity. After the withdrawal from Kuwait, the sanctions remained for lies about nuclear weapons program. The Iraqis were bombed w/ shells of depleted uranium. Tons were fired on their land. They were left in the dark bombed with depleted uranium and with every item banned.
