Here is a video taken from an old blog I wrote entitled, "I'll Become a Catholic When..." I go to show that the ultimatum is neither thought out nor realistic.

    Who is offended?????

I asked if someone here has suggested that Jesus is not the only way?

Is there a reason you did not answer the question as asked?

  • @baldonebear

It's good news friend - not something that should offend you.

But if you are offended, then ask God to show you why.

Either way, be blessed and always seek after Jesus.

Is there someone here who has suggested that Jesus is not eh only way to the Father?

  • You cannot say there is no God,but you can say that there is no reason to believe there is one.

  • Jesus is the answer. He is the ONLY way to the Father in Heaven. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, repent, obey and be saved!

Ah, so not official documentation, thus it is a subjective conclusion based on conjecture.

There were cultural items that were absorbed and made Christian, the same as many seeker church's do today. However, there is zero evidence to support your thesis on prayer to Mary and the Saints.

That is straight from the pages on anti-Catholic literature, thus, that is what you seek to find your unsubstantiated statements.

  • I am Anglican because of autonomy of diocese- love Catholicism- and Orthodoxy - believe in the Eucharist and confirmed in Anglo- Catholic Church- But there is disagreement on a myriad of issues within Catholicism as well on a huge range of issues concerning social justice, the mass, music, etc.

  • @baldonebear Praying to Mary to replace the mother goddess and convince pagans to convert, praying to saints to replace lesser deities to get pagans to convert. Many things were added to Catholic teachings to get pagans to convert that compromised Christianity. There are no official documents for this because it happened almost 2000 years ago, but if ye seek ye shall find.

  • @baldonebear Evangelical

    Part 2

So you are part of an independent Protestant church...you are still Protestant doctrinally and theologically even if your personally do not accept the title.

Are you more Evangelical or Pentecostal/Charismatic/word of faith?
