ARMA II - Hajimoto goes Sniping - M107 Sniper Movie

Hard to believe that this video is under 10 minutes long but is made from over 2 hours of video. I decided to play a sniper exclusively for one AO on the Legion Of Sparta Domination2 server and Fraps the entire thing. When all the smoke settled I was 60 and 1 and over 622gb of video! I captured some pretty amazing shots, some from over 1km out. I used the M107 as my primary and a MK17 with ACOG as my secondary. Enjoy the show!

Heh, non ACE mod sniping...I'm used to adjust my scope and have my friend as a spotter to call in range and WIND, mind you we are hitting targets in 1000 to 1800m range, so we need to calculate the damn elevation between us and the target to make it right.

This right here is nothing to that, all ya do is tilt your scope up or down lol...

Arma 2 OA + ACE 2 mod. There you got yourself a damn military simulator game. Good video non the less.

@WhiteFang103 you play the game as close to real as it gets with ACE2 and OA. I agree that the elevation and windage adjustments are more complex in ACE2 but if you watch close you will see that in some of the shots I make use the elevation/zeroing adjustment. at 1:53 you see in the upper right it is set at 500 meters but once I acquire the target I manually adjust to 700 meters 2:03 based on the range finder info of 668 to target. How do you Zero the scope on here?

@xCONNECTxTHExDOTSx Please see my comment to @vBulletinzz below. It depends if your using ACE or playing the game vanilla, either way you can adjust your zero based on wind direction and distance to the target. If your playing vanilla ARMA and are in the scope view, use the PAGEUP and PAGEDN to change elevation (zeroing), in ACE it is a bit more complex, you need to press SHIFT-K to determine windage and then SHIFT-V to adjust elevation. Hope this helps!

why there is no bullet drop ?

@vBulletinzz there is bullet drop. If you look in the upper right corner while scoped, you will see me making the elevation adjustment so that the crosshair is on the target at the proper range. First I range find the distance and then I adjust the elevation. EXAMPLE: Watch at the 2:00 mark you will see when I look through the scope initially it is at 500m, I adjust to 700m and take the shot. Thanks for the comment!

Why HajimotorFOYI is a better sniper then all the CoD "quickscopers"..he doesn't put red dot's on his snipers, and then runs close to the people..

he lays down in the grass, aims and waits for the target..as any real sniper do..

@lancenelson95 Its lots of money but if you are the daddy like me then this is the big boys toy for you, Also your console games will look 10 times better on PC, Arma 3 is in July I think, Get it get a pc witha good graphics card, I use no less than a gtx 570. Then your life will be...O Just google "track IR5 with arma 2 chopper" I just got 1 a day ago, This is as real as its gonna get man, Peace. BF3 and any cod look flawless on PC too.
