What happens in Kansas City when you're snowed in? I got bored and figured I'd make an acoustic video for "Start Saving Me." This will be one of the songs on my upcoming CD. After watching a couple of videos of folks doing covers of my songs, I figured I'd just do one myself. This is dedicated to all the families of our military, first responders or anyone who keeps the home fires burning while loved ones are away. Even the strong need to be saved sometimes.

  • i love the acoustic version so much!!! :) you are amazing, thank you.

  • PS thanks for coming out to Lejeune and singing for us. I know it is what me and our daughters needed, to take our mind off the fact that my husband/their daddy is deployed. Once again, you're awesome.

  • OMG!!! So you were just at Camp Lejeune last night with the Lt. Dan Band and this song had me in tears. My husband is currently deployed and it just kind of hit my soft spot. You are an amazing singer/song writer. Keep up the amazing work !! Semper Fi <3

  • This song means something different to me.....Its about saving those AT HOME. The "Wives" and the Children. Theres the rub. The REAL VETS. THE REAL HERO'S. No greater Soldier has ever existed, than those that WAIT. May God shine his Light down upon you all, and bless your patient waiting.

  • Stop-Loss, No end in Sight, The end is staring us in the face, they cut our V.A. Benifits, and deny the new Soldiers, Burn their records and now want to take more. They steal the Bronze Plaques that mark the graves of Soldiers here, to make money to feed the familys that cant stand on their own....Even in death, they continue to "Take"....I am Tired. Yet even in Death, I know, I will find no peace.

  • Wow, I am impressed. This is beautiful, thank you for your support to our Marines. God bless, and God bless the USA.

  • Great song Mike! My boyfriend is deployed to Afghan and its songs like this that help me get through the days. Thank you!

  • this song means so much to me.... it helps me get through this very tough deployment

  • Thnaks for sharing your special gifts with all of us and all you do daily!

  • thanks Mike, you're awesome!
