  • If I had of known this could be done with a Ford ranger I would never have sold mine. But I will have a CJ-7 soon enough So I guess it's all cool

  • is it street legal?

  • The torque that it's pushing around :48 seconds is ridiculous!

  • @dankhimself full steal cylidrical spacers. made em myself actually. made em out of steal in hopes it wouldn't cause as much excess roll. didn't work. my buddy's body lift is made out of polymer rubber. those suck too lol

  • @tylerdtharp well im making bumpers for it so thats no big deal. What were your blocks made of? I havent heard of any substantial body roll with them but maybe ill have to reconsider.

  • @dankhimself that mean you gotta get brackets to lift you bumpers as well. then you'll have that goofy space between your body and frame unless you put those strips on it to cover the gap. i had a 3in body lift and 4 inch suspension on my ranger. the body lift added so much extra body roll that i hated it and removed it

  • @tylerdtharp I see, I have a 97 im putting a Duff 6" class 3 lift on in a month or so, i have to replace the body bushings since they're shot so i was gonna throw a 2 inch b lift in too.

  • @dankhimself well the firewall does get in the way. thats y you gotta move the engine mounts forward and use pusher electric fans behind the grill so you can eliminate the mechanical fan

  • @tylerdtharp oh ok i watched it on my phone i cant see it well, i thought the firewall gets int he way or something, good shit man i guess i read that one incorrectly. A mid engine ranger would be pretty badass

  • @dankhimself the engine is in the bed. look closely. and i know a v8 will clear a ranger engine bay without a body lift. did it myself to my old 96 ranger. i put a 302 in it. just had to re locate a few things
