Ray Price "San Antonio Rose" performed this December 16th, 2009 at Willie's Place in Carl's Corner, Texas. A Luck Films Production in association with: Ningun Films Capricious Systems Rebel Production Associates and Fast Talk'n Productions
Others have sang this song before Ray Price, Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys come to mind, but to me, this will only ever be a Ray Price song, it never sounds right from anyone else.
Ray Price is such a national treasure, although an oft overlooked one I feel. He should always be mentioned in the same breath with legends like Haggard, Jones, and Cash.
yes.... justin25taylor thanks....... I researched the steel guitar forum and found out his name...he just plays the best western swing I've ever heard......his trio on you tube{bubbles in my beer} he just keeps composing unbelievable runs in his head and puts them dead on ,on his pedal steel
I'd like to say that I'm definitely one of Ray's Posse, you can't find anyone better than this.

@EdGary1
He IS a monster. If I could ever be 1/2 the player he is, I would die happy.
If anyone ever has a chance to use Jim and doesn't, it's their own fault.
