I find it incredibly amusing to see both sides of the moronic left vs right, liberal vs conservative arguing that they have the moral high ground, when it's so blatantly clear that they are equally intolerant of the other. The real shame is that so many citizens engage in this high school like paradigm and parrot the same shit that they hear coming from the ideological sock puppets on TV & radio. The difference is the sock puppets make millions stoking your fire, while your ass is still broke!!!

There are extremists on both sides of the spectrum but O'Reilly's not really about nuanced debate or balance, so I wouldn't go to him on these issues. Anyway thanks for the discussion, see you round.

He's a more conservative libertarian though. He's not a prick about it.

He can have a conversation with more conservative conservatives or with more liberal libertarians.

Him and Dennis Miller to me are right about where a real centrist should be.

They are much more adept at it than O'Reilly who does a whole show rightly exposing liberals and showing evidence of why they're crazy, and then he always says there's loons on the far right too but never any evidence to support his wild claims.

Greg is quite even handed, he may side with conservatives but he's a libertarian at heart, not interested in the moralizing that both sides do. An interest list of people you dislike, they've all at times said things that have perturbed the conservative through line, though I'm sure Greg at times have said things that at least counter the tunnel vision of some of his right wing colleagues.
