Having a look inside the ~£30 720p Logitech C310 webcam.

As I'm planning on mounting it onto a servomechanism I need to get rid of some weight; the most obvious of which is the actual counterweight, followed by some unnecessary plastic.

Worth noting is that I first thought the little holes at the front were for a rangefinder - this isn't the case; it's for the microphone. I might also have misread the serial number on the SOC (I'll add annotations later to make sure it's easier to determine either way)

Sorry about the flickering - my camera will only record at one frame rate.
