Big roosters @ the Chicken Ranch - The Twins

My friend has a farm and raised some baby chicks we brought from a daycare. They grew and got big. They are the type to eat, not to lay eggs.
Shown are two Giant twin roosters and other chickens.

Those things look like meat birds... Did they live very long?

yep! they are not egg layers.

gave them to my friend who has a farm. I got'em from a day care. they had them for easter egg hatching for the kids.

as the chick got older the day care had to find a home for them, after the eggs hatched I knew my friend could take them.

he discovered that they were fryers. and grew very fast.

don't think they could live a long time.

too big, hard to walk around.

Huge birds but they should really be kept in a bigger shed with perches to roost on at night, even if they are destined to be eaten. I posted a video reply of my young roosters running about the place - hope you like it :)
