You should have tried smoking a little bit of a joint. It probably would have lessened your nausea and made you feel more like you could eat. Not to mention lifting spirits and possibly taking your mind of the aches you were having. Who knows, it could also help with the pain from your condition. It is nice to see you so self aware in your withdrawl though. A lot of people get irrational and just give in. Whether you need Jesus to kick or not good for you... Great video you made. I was drawn to it because I know the feeling you are talking about. However, I am very thankful these pain killers are available. Like you, I know when enough is enough. Though, with my condition I find they are a true blessing. You just can't abuse them. Like anything on this earth if it's food to a alcohol drink to money or prescribed drugs. As a dental student, I wanted to respond to his comment about his oxycodone use interferring with dental treatment. Untrue. Local Anesthetics are used for 99% of dental treatment when anagelsia is indicated. Opiate narcotics do not interfere with local anesthetics in any way, period. He could have a filling, or a tooth extraction w/o any trouble whatsoever. As far as post-op pain goes, the dose he takes for his disease pain will more than take care of that. Ignorant statement on his behalf.

Dude you don't know what withdrawals are if you are able to sit up at your computer & make a video at day 5. Real fucking withdrawals are laying on the floor in your own shit & vomit, and not being able to even stand up to get out of it. Real withdrawals are shaking, seizures, and not even being able to keep a sip of water down, not being able to sleep for weeks. Everyone thinks their experience is the worst, but you're not even close.

@ahngination OK, gotcha...I was given oxycodone for about 2 years and then switched to the 30 mg. oxycontin. Off all the crap now, did it privately and took me about 2 straight weeks to get my body rid of all that stuff. Best thing to do is never get started on them.

@junerose621 you're right, but percocet has acetaminophen in it. Roxycodone is the 15mg and 30mg pills that can also be called oxy's because they are only oxycodone. The main ingredient in Oxycontin is oxycodone, thus it can be referred to as Oxy's in slang.
