A favorite hobby horse of Climate Denialists is that there is some kind of invisible, undetectable influence from the sun that is responsible for the unequivocal warming of the last century. Let's put that crock under a microscope and see where the cracks are.

  • Define a real scientist?? One with a PHD that proves you right?? What about a PHD that proves you wrong like the ones in The Great Gobal Warming Swindle. They must not be real scientists. If the planet is warming shouldn't there at least be grapes growing in Greenland like there were 1,000 years ago. Or maybe the planet is growing so hot so fast greenland will be renamed Raisinville.

  • @ILIAD9

    swindle movie - see here

    watch?v=boj9ccV9htk

    an embarrassment to all concerned.

  • peter sinclair? i think not. peter joseph, more like, NWO stooge. trying to debunk the truth again. notice that actually temps in the troposphere have DECREASED, not increased. second, now please explain the maundy minimum, which coincided with a period of low sunspots. oh dear, when solar cycle 24/25 is equivalent to the maundy minimum and temps go down despite manmade co2 continuing to rise, someone is going to have eat their words. this is fucking propaganda BS, no science, but sounds good?

  • @ur7maa

    "Maundy"?

  • i meant what i said, btw. if humans don't grow up soon then they will be 'confined' to their own solar system. we can't take the chance of modern humans infiltrating the galaxy. especially now you have finally discovered the graviton. and especially if the humans who make contact are 'american'. they are the worst kind of humans, with their idiotic liberalist ethics. we can't be dealing with them. oh no.

  • @greenman3610 maundy min was early 18th c when e.g. the thames froze. coincides perfectly with the solar cycles of the time. no great industry then lol. if i were you, i'd see if you can find a bookie who will take a long shot on 'the thames freezing over by 2050' - that's a nice little pension pot there. of course because 'they' know this, there won't be a world to enjoy by then. totalitarianism in the wrong way. oh what silly humans... we don't like them anymore...

  • Interesting. The trees here started changing color last week. Usually it's in the first part of October peaking around October 11th. One of my maple trees hasn't changed color yet. It's been warm. No frost yet. Normally we get some frost. Texas has been really hot and they forgot what rain looks like. And they never said that some regions wouldn't actually get colder, while others got warmer. This is about keeping the earth habitable for humans, not saving the earth.

  • @ViDeOaWe

sounds like you are on the right track. skepticalscience rules.

  • @greenman3610 He showed that the resent warming is not caused by the sun, but sun spots correlated with temperatures over the last 11000 years. During the 70s CO2 over took solar forcing and started to increase temps, but I worry that it might get hot, fast, when solar forcing increases. But I just read on skeptical science that "the sunspot model is suitable for decadal to centennial", another reason to not worry about a serious increase over a short time.

  • @ViDeOaWe

make sure you read what solanki actually says, not what someone says he says.

    skepticalscience is a good source.
