In Akron, Ohio, deer are being gunned down because some people say there are too many of them. But is that any reason to have incompetents leaving these beautiful animals to suffer? Undercover footage reveals a shameful scandal of animal abuse.

@SHARKonlineorg I did not see any wrong doing here, other then the fact that they did not kill the animal immediately. And that's not a crime, that's just inhumane. But again that's not a crime, also when a deer is still alive when we come up on it, either A. we will shoot it again hoping it does the job or B. We will slit it's throat to do the job, I do not see how the local police could charge them with anything from the animal's killig and such.

They should have either made better shots or shot them again after they were down. No reason not to.

The deer herd in area's is too high and needs controlling, so culling the heard should not be considered an issue. In my area, there's a local nature preserve that has way too many deer, so they hold annual hunts now. Meat is donated to a local homeless shelter.

You can hunt on national forests around here that's about all its used for...you shoot a deer behind the shoulder for its heart and lungs and 9 times out of 10 it will run a little ways but sometimes it will drop it.

maybe look into how they got the deer there, and compare to your local law. around here if the deer were trapped or fed into the area artificially, you're in trouble. just because they are removing deer, doesn't remove them from your written law.
