hey i dint get it... i follow the instruction untill in the one with the brush that should be black... and it really is black.... and not with the one with spots...

@lonelystarpaolo hmm... ok you should see in the layers panel there should be like a rectangle beside the layer you created a mask in right? you should click that rectangle before using the brush
