I won this while tuning in for the Ukulele Underground "Undie" awards. It's a Kala brand, tenor size, travel ukulele. It's super thin, but it's solid wood, and really loud.
Again, I'd like to that Aaron, Aldrine and Ryan over at www.ukuleleunderground.com for doing all that they do and for being awesome.
Nice video!.
What kind of strings did you install on your exotic mahoghany tenor again?
I have the same model but it's a concert. I'm thinking about getting the exotic mahoghany tenor! :-)
Do you still love your travel tenor Kala? Not sure which one to buy...Can you help me decide?
Thanks!

I'd have to say some kind of Worths. No wait...it's low-G in this video...so Ko'olau Golds.
It still have both. Neither get much playtime anymore with the custom I have.
The travel tenor is dedicated to autographs and the mahogany one is still low-g. Can't go wrong with either but if I had to pick it would be the travel tenor. The sound that comes out is better than the full body mahogany.

Do you know where I can purchase one that comes with aquilas strings already with it? I heard the Kala website carries them, but I was hoping on finding it for a less expensive price somewhere else.
Thanks! :)

Sear for "musicguymic" on ebay. he's great and he sets up most of his ukes with aquila strings.
