Still rockin' out. I saw them on their 1st tour in 1968 (Anderson Theater in NY, pre-Fillmore) and their last tour in 2010 (in New Jersey.) Gary still hits all the notes. The guitar player has been with them 20 years and while he's no Robin, he's one of the best out there today. While BJ is irreplaceable, when you see them now, they still sound just like Procol Harum.

@MrEjw3 Thanks, I wasn't aware that he was with them that long. Most of what I know about Procol Harum comes from hanging out with and playing in a band with Barry Wilson after he left Joe Cocker's band. We drank a lot back then so my memories not all that accurate. I sure miss that guy.

Just to clarify, Robin Trower left after the fifth album, "Broken Barricades". Simple Sister was the main radio tune from that one, and a truly jamming one at that. Checkout the other videos from this TV special which I think was recorded in Germany. Dave Ball is the guitartist. Rock on!

This guitarist isn't Robin Trower. He quit the band after Jimi Hendrix opened for them. He decided he needed to practice more. He's only on Procol Harums first LP.

Let's hear some praise for Mr. Wilson on the drums!

I have had the pleasure to see this band thre times - 73, 92 and 2007. All conserts amazing. Mr Brooker is a genius, and all the musicans who have played in the band have my utmost respect. Ball, Copping and BJ is fantastic on the Edmonton album. Procol harum has made my life better.
