@SuperiorChrysler8 There are 5 Hondas in my family, NONE of them have ever needed anything other than routine maintenance. I owned a '93 Civic CX that had over 312,000 miles on it, it was flawless and it never got below 42 mpg!
Google: Driver hits 1 million miles in Honda Accord
Google: JD Power IQS list, one of the Chrysler brands is always very near the bottom on the list for every year! ALL of the Chrysler brands are below the industry average.
I can back my claims up with FACT, can you?

@nnjjiittss IMPORTED TRASH !
-
@idontcare80 Perhaps the only thing that is not occupied here is your brain !
You have ZERO education when it comes to cars, you have ZERIO opioions that matter.
Perhaps it time to educate yourself, I know more about cars than you ever will and I have scads of experience with imports - they are 100% pure trash and always have been. Look after your car and it will treat you well, aside from a honda of course, they WILL let you down regardless. TRY AGAIN !
-
@SuperiorChrysler8 Yeah, that's why Chrysler continually occupies the bottom of the quality and reliability ratings. Moron.
-
@SuperiorChrysler8 - That would be because not every car coming off the line is perfect, and as I recall the Fusion and Escape share the same transmission, which was on the kind of weak side. The a/c compressor I wouldn't complain to Ford about, as something like that is usually a sourced part. Also depending on the driving you do will depend on how long it takes you to wear out your brakes. Plus these are two cars due for replacement very shortly. (also its huge, not hudge)
-
@Harey0407 Once again wrong - I know all about these things having a mechanic in the family for many years.
If you test fords, then please tell me why the 2010 fusion had a transmission go out at 7,000mi ? And then there was a hudge wait because there were no parts available, and then the a/c compressor had to be replaced and then the brakes at 32,000 at a cost of 500,00 for front only. This does not sound like quality to me. Then there is the escape which is on it's second transmission now !
-
@SuperiorChrysler8 - Funny, as my job IS TESTING FORD'S. They go at least 20k miles with just oil changes easily. And a decent vehicle is in the eyes of a beholder, as I think most of Ford's current line up are decent cars, if not good cars. So its not me that has been misinformed, but in fact, YOU.
And then there's the issue of interior quality on that age of van, which I would say is poor, plenty of hard plastics, and uncomfortable seats, which the 2011 models did vastly improve.

@dartrip4 I am the next one, AMERICAN cars are superior - and if you don't want to supprt your country mabye you should move to japan,, that is where all of the profits are heading when you buy your imported scrap.
Bailouts have been paid back, and they are on their way to building better companies - DEAL WITH THE FACTS, NOT THE CRAP you hear from CR !
-
@Harey0407 Actually (once again) YOU HAVE BEEN MISINFORMED ! Fords are not reliable, to this day they can not make a decent vehicle, yet every Chrysler I have has has given me minimal problems - TRY AGAIN and get the facts straight before leaving this nonsense. They may not have taken a bailout, but ALL OF THE BAILOUT MONEY HAS BEEN PAID BACK, so who gives a damn !
-
@nnjjiittss IMPORTED CRAP !
Dartrip4: Don't try to paint them all in one broad stroke. Ford and GM don't seem to have even 1/10th of the problems that Chrysler has and non-American vehicles aren't immune from problems, either...

however, glue shouldn't be needed to be used on a brand new car.
