you dentists... dare to show your patients a detailed statement with your charges as a dentist and what you pay the to "manufacture" that crown your patient is paying overa thousand dollars for? do you? it is just a matter of time before patients become properly informed and dental labs resolve not to work for pennies any more, then you wont be able to report a $50.00 dollars crown, because there wont be any, and your patient will not pay you for a piece of crap, that is just 10% of their price

... just like they had the needed funds, discipline, and intelectual readiness to go through dental school, which , I will agree, not everyone has, dental tecnicians have talent, the ability to see, sculpt, and paint dental restoration, which ceratinly, not everyone has either. it is no secret that some dentist can't even take a shade, or mimic a dental restoration with their own hands, why then hammer dental tecnicians' heads with dumb prescriptions and arrogant attitudes? ...

... no more triple trays for am impression, no more distorted margins or else, no more missing bite registration, plain shade tab for a shade characterization, and mo more rush cases in 1 day and" dont charge " notes on that case.. just dont take those cases, who do they think they are? having trained for 17 years does not make a dentist a better professional is he or she cannot agree upon recognizing that dental tecnicians are as genuine as dentist are.....

were dental labs to come to a common agreement and demand a fair price for their work; meaning quality work, performed by an experienced and talented tecnician, not the cheap product on which so many corners have being cut that model work is terrible, metal support is even worse, and the ceramic build up resembles anything but a tooth; only then dentist would have no choice but to respect the lab prices. this would also mean that labs will have their requirements from the dentist...

one of the reasons dentist dont' appreciate dental tecs is because dental tecnicians do not show respect for themselves. just like dentist are ready to jump on the first lab offering a $5.00 discount, dental labs are reary and willing to offer their hard worked products for pennies. does beating the competition by offering a $50.00 corwn really makes the lab a better business, a stronger competitor? the labs are just making their businesses and their employees' lives miserable! doctors dont care

Well.. I send an appilcation to Poland and they offered me ..way more money than I can make here in the United States.

Dentists think the techs are idiots largely because 1) they make a lot of teeth and mistakes occur throughout production 2) only an idiot would work so hard for meager wages 3) dentists make mistakes but can still blame them on the technicians. American Dental Supply companies got greedy and took their equipment to third world countries like China and now make crowns for 30 bux a unit. These sweatshops have housing, cafeterias and run 24-7.
