Wall Street Journal published an article about how Marie Digby manipulated her fans. She made us believe that she was an unsigned artist while she was already signed with Hollywood Records. Even though she never mentioned not to be signed, she played along, acting all amateurish while other artists are trying hard to breakthrough with Youtube. If you are not angry with her, it means whether you did not read the article or you just don't care that you have been manipulated. Come on! I am sure you also thought she made it through Youtube. Now you know it is a lie since she was signed already. Think about those who are really struggling on Youtube to get signed while she pretented not to be signed to get fans. Marie is talented, but she fooled us. If you decide to follow her even she betrayed us fine, it's your choice.

We are not "insecure." We are educating Marie Digby fans about her path to (semi-) stardom. Misleading your fans into thinking this girl singing in her parents house posting videos on YouTube just got famous by chance is total b.s. Digby and Hollywood Records devised this plan all along. I became a fan after hearing her music and after this whole youtube scandal was over so I'll be staying a loyal fan. But, was it really her fault though? She never said that she was found on youtube. People just assumed that she was a youtube phenom. In my opinion, she is smart to use youtube to gain fans. And besides there are worse artist out there, like Lil Wayne who smokes weed and others who are in gang related activities.

She built her image based on being an amateur artist and I'm sure that's how most people know her - "A youtube sensation". However, she was signed already. It's great that she is trying to promote herself but building a fake image to get more fans is not. She obviously is making money off of people like you. So just go to get a job and waste more money on her.

get a life. go to colllege. finish your degree, get a job , get married and move on.

if you have too much freetime, go volunteer at a soup kitchen or go run a marathon for a charity. :)

Wall street journal is very conservative and are full of rich white men who make the news. look what happened in 2009 when the freaken economy crashed. stupid wall street journal went down. not a good reliable UNBIAS source. didn't your teachers teach you that you need to check your sources and make sure they ain't bias. tsk tsk tsk.

you are so obessssssed with her. get a life. she is an amateur. she never debuted. she was at risk of being dropped from her record company. it don't matter if you are signed to a record label. if you don't come out with an album and promote it, you don't make any MONEY. okay. she took a risk to start posting youtube account so she would not lose her record label. maybe you should have done your research. she's not gonna come on youtube and put all her business on a plate for everyone to see.
