Milo, Maine, the Fire and the Future

Interview with Roger Merchant before the Milo, Maine selectmen meeting Thursday, November 6th.

Roger Merchant is a community organizer and Extension Educator for Piscataquis County at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.

Milo, Maine experienced a fire in the town's downtown area on September 14th, 2008, destroying a number of Milo buildings, businesses, and a residence. Milo, Maine, the Fire and the Future is part of proposed collaboration between the Town of Milo and University of Maine students, faculty, and staff to produce media and journalism content over the coming months and years.
