11. Cut and paste it into the folder with your steering wheel's Vendor ID

Final Step! Play the game to set up your steering wheel
Ensure you have "Pedals Reported As Combined" unchecked under your steering wheel's properties in Control Panel.
If your steering wheel does not work when you start the game, Alt-Tab to desktop or go into Shift mode and return to the car a few times until the steering wheel works.

  • @kkjhbhjfgjh Try Alt-Tab to desktop or go into Shift mode and return to the car a few times until the steering wheel works.

  • hi man.... well it worked for me but the problem is that acc and brakes are now the same brake and gas pedal.... both pedals do the same thing and i cant drive normaly i want to acc but at the same time its braking....

  • @cilveks4 Did you uncheck "Report as Combined Pedals"? If not, please do. If you have already done it, then I'm not sure what is the problem.

  • 2- Make sure you have the "Pedals Reported As Combined" unchecked in your wheel's Windows controller panel.

3- In case the steering doesn't respond when you satrt the game, alt-tab to desktop, go into Shift mode and come back to the car a few times till the steering responds. Once it starts it's fine.

  • @zaoc1 Thanks! I've updated the instructions.

  • Thanks a lot man, you solved the problem, by the way... when I press Acc Pedal, the speed won't get more than 30 MPH, I use 0% dead zone and 100% sensitive both in game and the Wheel's control panel, but the car won't reach high speed.. will u please tell me what to do?

  • Doesn't work with G27..

  • played driver today and i didnt have to do anything.... the game is supporting my momo naturally

  • better open "0x044f" and there rename. this way you can set control.

  • Thanks, man. You are my hero! :)

Recently got me a Trust GXT 27. Works excellent now that you've helped! Thank you!

  • I've tried to make the steering work with ALT+TAB and shift mode but nothing seems to work help please!

  • Thanks, it works with Fanatec GT2 and clubsport pedals now, but what driving me crazy now is the speed sensitivity. While speed is increased, wheel movement is decreased, ouch :/ There is even not any variable to disable this, only ffb can be tned a bit...

  • @rlrh96 how would i apply this method to need for speed world? whent to destination folder and theres only dll's exe's and txt files no fodlers. is there a way i can disguise the device with registry keys?
