It tastes great and is absolutely easily digested.

@elharlock Their Pale Ale (Moose Red) is widely available over here. I didn't realize it wasn't available in NS. I've seen the stuff in Liquor stores as far away as Alberta. I like it better than any of the Moose Lagers. Might have to send one over at some point. It's the Original Moosehead.
Cask Ale on the other hand, SJ Ale House just started doing 'Cask Thursdays' where they 'Crack open a cask and pour all night', T-shirts, Mugs and Membership cards too. Might be trying to boost popularity.

All moosehead products taste like ass, as a proud Nova Scotian; I'll stick to Keiths.

Slow brewed means less chemicals. Oh and Moosehead hasn't sold out to the American corporate whores like the other brewery's did. This beer has a nice quench to it like no other. Cheers!

@ClaptonsGod Moosehead is a decent macro lager, nothing more. It's certainly not a world class beer. And if you think it is, you know nothing about beer.
Moose Lager, Light, Cracked Canoe, Dry, Dry Ice, Light Lime/Blackberry... etc.. all just variations of their standard Lager formula. Their Pale Ale and Clancy's Amber Ale are still light inoffensive beers.
I really wish that Moosehead would smarten the feck up and make a real beer.

@maddmaxstar Hopefully they release that special beer only sold on tap, and their pale ale.

ive had all of mooseheads beer, and IMO the regular lager is the best tasting, esp. on a hot, hot day.

@lilHamminator I agree.

Unfortunately the only Moosehead we can get in the states is regular and sometimes the light.

Well, the regular Moosehead is, overall, the best of their beers, so you're not missing much.
