  • Shearing in its intensity, climbs the walls into the intersanctum of our Lord. Shiveringly abundant and lush. Haunting, drenched in beauty's way. Draws us into the silver of shine, shimmering, dazzling in grace. We all are blessed.

  • It is very sweet and calm sound

  • Incredible. Never before have I heard something this profound.

  • Eerily beautiful.

  • @vhjmvn Well, I suggest that you correct Wikipedia, with precise references. As you know, everyon can write in Wikipedia.

  • @InnocentParadis Wikipedia is not up to the times. This is authentic. New scholarship from Italy, reaching far and wide, has shown that these chants for women were polyphonic, too.

  • @Reubunderfull Impossible, they did produce a Hildegard collection, but this is clearly an "arrangement" using her chant melodies. I'd really like to know who it is tho...

  • Catholicism (L)

  • According to Wikipedia, the music of Hildegard von Bingen is monophonic. If it is true, a great part of the music on this video is not authentic.
