SV 1000S K5 Limited Edition - Exhaust Sound Check

Hey guys, this is the first video of my bike. Thought I'd just stick it up on youtube and see whatcha all think. Its a Suzuki SV 1000S Limited Edition 2005 model. GSXR paint + Engine Tune on this model with a top registered speed of 194 MPH. Personal top speed 183 (but I ran outa road). Power commander users boast this bike can clock over 200 MPH. But hey, watever, enjoy =)

Nice paint scheme. How much did that run you? Any issues with high engine temps with that full fairing on the bike?

Hey mate, uhm as far as the price goes, it cost me £3650 for it when it was 4 year old. It didnt come with the custom cans, but everything else including a host of panier racks and other fancy bits n bobs were included.

As far as temperature goes, it's quite cold in england even in the summer it ain't that hot, hottest the engine got was about 104 degrees celsius. Fan ticked on around 100. So I wouldn't consider that as hot. Overall a good bike ;)

It came with the bike mate because it is the limited edition Suzuki SV 1000 SZ. GSXR tuning etc to mark the 25th anniversary I believe. The fan would regularly kick in quite quickly when sat idle, but on the road it would immediately cool down. Although tbh, it probably was running slightly warmer than would be expected on a similar sports bike. It often hit around 100-104 degrees at idle. Averaging around 95 once running though.

i topped my 01 650 naked out @ 143. still had rpms to go, jus ran outta power. but gettin there was a blast. its got a scorpion slip on and vortex sprockets. killer fuckin bike love the pain job on it super sick. safe riding

and buy the way bobwatters ur little gixxer 600 wont even come close to an sv1000 .maybe around a track . ur 600cc screaming bitch doesnt even make more than 60nm of tourqe at all an sv1000 has that and more from 3000rpm hahaha try drag a guy on a sv1000 i dare u

tinning i have a 2005 sv1000s with havoc cans and a tre eliminator fitted and secondary throttle valves removed and a bmc filter,bazzaz fuel managment system and i am running 123rwhp i really dono how u get 160!!!!!

Respond to this video... hi i have an sv1000s special edition with beowulf cand re mapped power commander timing retard eliminator and it is running at 160bhp with no problems at all its the best bike i have ever had and it cost me £3995

@bobwatters lol that slays me, i have a 98 zx6r that runs circles around my buddies 07 gsxr600, even top end, and only things i have done are -1+2 gearing and a slip on exhaust! i got an 03 sv1000s completely stock and that bike has a butt load more torque than either of those bikes! also when i put it on the butt dyno it seemed alot faster!
