Dreams and Illusions by Nastio Mosquito

This performative installation piece is about dreaming and is based on the power of dreaming and its manifestations on public life. Public speeches, popular sayings, passages of classical texts, scientific data, and poems written by the artist. The artists records a radio show in which he on the role of personal a jester and entertainer and references the histories of storytelling. The passengers will be entertained with a sound installation quoting the books, music, jokes, poems, colonial history and recipes for magic spells for the duration of the trip. This piece took place on the Wynberg taxi route that goes via Woodstock, Saltriver, Mowbray, Rondebosch and Claremont from 27 May - 10 June in Cape Town.
