Every Hawk fan got at least 1 grey hair on halloween 2009 but that was a day/night I will never forget in IOWA CITY. If only the drunkness didn't lead to booing ricky stanzi but who knows he may have needed that to wake up but regardless top 5 days I've lived EVER what a day trick or treat Iowa City indeed

@TheImmortalGFX He left because he wanted the full time rushing job over Adam Robinson but Ferentz wouldn't give it to him. Wegher left for Oklahoma but dropped out last semester I think.

The biggest factor in that game was the wind. It had to be blowing a consistent 15 miles an hour with gusts approaching 25. Iowa made the mistake of trying to throw the ball deep into the wind in the 3rd quarter. Once they had the wind at their backs, they scored almost at will.

agree with everything you said about Iowa and their tendency to play down or up to their competition...hopefully next season we see the offense really excell and the same effort on the defensive side of the ball...could equal another BCS game....Orange Bowl Champions baby!
