Oh-Ok perform "Let's Get Together" at Little Kings Shuffle Club on Friday, May 29, 2009 for NEDfest. NEDfest was a benefit thrown for Ingrid Shorr, longtime Athens supporter, breast cancer survivor and subject of "(Don't Go Back to) Rockville."

@jehouse More like who was Bang. They were a great band fronted by Norbert Miller & were featured on a retrospective on WUOG 90.5 FM in 1984 called "Athens Music: The First Five Years", where they performed their song, "Turning a Deaf Ear to the Ground" sometimes called "When I think of You". Their logo featured a nuclear bomb mushroom cloud, and their music had a kind of early Stones rockin' beat with baritone lead vocals and three-part harmonies, and the subject matter was often political.

Unexpected and unbelievable...please put more up. This is Linda Hopper and Linda Stipe (the sister of Michael Stipe of REM). Can't clearly see, but it should be David McNair on drums or maybe David Pierce, and Matthew Sweet on guitar. Contemporaries of REM, Pylon, Love Tractor, The Little Tigers, Bang, Dreams So Real, Club Gaga, The Squalls and Limbo District.
