Strolling down the Highway - Bert Jansch (Cover)

I thought I'd stop playing any other current song I'm practicing and record my rendition of one of my favourite Bert Jansch songs as a tribute for this occasion.
I didn't really expect it in any way. A great inspiration and guitar master gone. A huge loss.

I used Nick Drakes cover as a reference. Still I'm not really used to play this kind of fingerstyle, but I wanted to give it a try at least.
Hope you don't mind my making faces and such. I just finished it this morning, so I'm still struggling to get it down right.

I saw Bert many times and was able to observe his technique up close....You sing very well too-like Nick Drake....Very touched to hear this young man!

Good grief! You play so well. Listening to fabulous covers like this just inspires all of us, I'm sure, to have a go at something new and venture where we wouldn't otherwise have done. You've also introduced me to an artist I really knew nothing about, so thanks for that. Another excellent rendition Tobias :D

Truly a great loss was Bert Jansch leaving us. But he lives on in musicians such as yourself.  This is a beautiful tribute.
