Rick Stone Trio; Rick Stone (guitar), Marco Panascia (bass), Tom Pollard (drums) performing Jerome Kern's "Nobody Else But Me" at Dag Hammarsjkold Plaza Lunchtime Concert Series, New York, NY, June 15th, 2010. Rick is playing a D'Angelico Excel EXS-1DH through a Polytone Minibrute II amp.
Thanks for all the kind words. Just so you know, I've got a brand new CD with this band (Marco Panascia and Tom Pollard) and you can get a FREE DOWNLOAD track from my website (youtube won't allow me to post a link so just google Rick Stone). Enjoy! This (and all my recordings) are available CD Baby.

Love the way you just slice through the chord changes with such ease and so tastefully - someone could sing your lines and they'd sound great.

@MrRichiekaye Thanks! Actually I DO sing all my lines while I'm playing (although it probably doesn't sound great when I sing them, though I'm not as bad as Keith Jarret :-) I'm also big on knowing the words to a tune when learning it (whenever that's possible anyway).

I'm about to get the same guitar you are playing here. Do you like it/recommend it?
Great playing.

Yeah, it's a great axe for the price. This in one of the made-in-Korea models from a few years ago. I got it mainly to have an inexpensive guitar to take on the road, but I like it quite a bit.

Wow, I haven't been here for awhile (very busy teaching) thanks for all the kind words. It's nice to know that somebody actually still likes to listen to this stuff :-)
