@thefritz Thanks for your reply. I never heard of Joe Lynn Turner so I don't know what you mean as far as comparing the two. But I can assume you don't like BRIAN HOWE. I was a teenager growing up in the HOWE era 90-94. I loved BAD COMPANY'S music!! PERFECT! But I liked the way things turned out at the time. RODGERS in the 70s, HOWE reigning supreme in the early 90s! I was used to that. The new BADCO had a DEF LEPPARD sound! Just doesn't work with RODGERS coming back, that's all. Miss HOWE!

@PrincessOfMasada
I respect your opinion but Brian Howe is to Bad Company as Joe Lynn Turner was to Deep Purple. I'll leave it at that.

Of course I love Paul Rodgers. But I prefer BRIAN HOWE!!! To me, it just doesn't work with Paul leading BadCo anymore. I want BRIAN HOWE back in the band! Sure, it wouldn't hurt to have HOWE & Rodgers singing a duet together. BRIAN HOWE MADE BAD COMPANY WHAT IT IS!!!!!!!!!

Paul Rodgers sounds just as good today as he did 35 years ago. Amazing.

Sorry. Had to say that. I was there and it was great. I was pleasantly surprised to see the DVD - especially on blu-ray. The video is INCREDIBLE. I had seen this show on Palladia and was disappointed in it's quality, but the DVD is amazing. Any fan should own it.

It's a great concert. I'm not sure off hand if this includes "Deal With The Preacher" (a personal fave) like the previous Merchants Of Cool DVD that Mick Ralphs did not play on, but this one does have Mick and second guitarist Howard Leese. Great stuff.

@psychodelicrock12 I recorded it off Direct TV Satellitte pay per view 5/21/99. The day of the show. I think I recorded it to VHS then copied to DVD. Don't remember if I had a DVD recorder then. Great pitcure & sound. I also have the 8/8/09 from the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Florida on my DVR in HD. I have no way to recorded it at the moment. It's available commercially though. So I would not trade it anyway.
