Beautiful singing from a beautiful singer. Miah Persson is a delight. Glad to see she's got some recognition at last with an article on her in this month's Gramophone (August 2011). They should have put a picture of her on the cover.

i'm not about to degrade miah's version because it's one of the best i've heard so far, but i would really like to hear this aria sung by barbara bonney. i think she would be also perfect for it...

Up with Lucia Popp's and Felicity Lott's versions.
The conductor doesn't rush it either which is a rare treat.
