  • My wife and I share in the cleaning, cooking, and child rearing. In fact I run my business from home so I can be there with my children while my wife, who's a nurse, works at a group home. I think she is the perfect woman and I'm extremely blessed to have her.

  • @SportaTiffany, a fair trade? i dunno but if thats a choice a woman & a man make, fine, its when its expected/demanded of all women & men that there's an issue, never mind any personal opinions about this sort of trade-off & perhaps the banality this kind of life could mean for some.

  • I have talked to many older women who were housewives in the 1950's and almost all of them were quite happy. In general, they claim that the media has drastically overstated the extent to which women were repressed and that for the most part if a woman wanted to work it was a private matter between her and her husband. Many married women did in fact work all thru the 50s a60s & 70s. in short these women tell me if u were unhappily married it was becuz u married a jerk- not because u were married

  • @SportaTiffany yeah, but even so some woman have a more Control-taking gene that wants us to be the ones who lead the mean around. im a woman and i sucked at housework... yet excelled at outdoor projects. wierd aint it?

  • @natikins89 I don't know the name but it's from disney's beauty and the beast

  • Honestly, I think it's a fair trade. The husband goes out and works all day and makes money so the family can have nice things and eat good food and live in a nice house. The wife cooks and cleans and does the laundry. Is that really so hard to do? If you keep a nice house, you don't even have to do that much cleaning anyways. Why work when you can stay home and even slack off when no one is looking? Sounds like a pretty good deal to me! And just so you know....I'm a female.

  • The Aquarium from Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns
