This is a pre-recorded free live stream from SPIN Magazine of Hummer by The Smashing Pumpkins. It was recorded with FRAPS from their website. All credit goes to them, the Terminal 5 venue in New York and of course The Smashing Pumpkins.

  • Damn. Over 1,000 views in less than 24 hours. Nice.

  • Amazing cut. Wish I would've seen them back in the day, but great to see Corgan playing one of the best songs they ever put out. Is there a live cut of Soma from this concert? I can't find one.

  • @bluecupseven Unfortunately, Soma wasn't played at that show. I saw them play Soma during the 20th Anniversary Tour and it was AMAZING!!!

  • Was Owata played during the show?

  • @msevrens Yes it was. I'll have that uploaded by this evening if not sooner.

  • Sounds like the Pumpkins to me. Glad to see he has ditched the dress in favor of the ugly shirt, like way back in the day. Man we're getting old!

  • Sounds like Billy has found his voice again here. Lovely song, still.

  • the best live version ive ever seen of hummer that new kid on drums is just amazing!

  • This is the best version of Hummer that I have heard since the 90's. I thought the drumming was awesome. The fill in the intro at :48 made me say wow.... the whole song feels fresh and like the good ol days.

  • I was expecting more from this drummer. I could play it more like jimmy than this guy. He cant play the fills no where near the same. The volume for the cymbals was too loud, or he was over doing it. I know everyones a critic right? I am just too much of a Jimmy Chamberlain fan.

  • That has to be one of the most alive crowds ive ever seen. they follow every word he's saying

  • lol @ all the suckers filming with their cellphones instead of rocking their asses off

  • @milkdog76 They have in fact helped write the new album. This will be the first SP album to feature all members writing most or all of their parts, as well as playing all their parts, unlike previous albums where Billy played most or all parts on albums (excluding drums of course).... :)

  • Saw them last night. Front row center. Awesome show! Best live band there is.

  • @sirwexley Spot motherfuckin' on bro!!!! Mike may never be as good as Jimmy, but damn that young fella can drum. He has many years to grow and i'm sure Jimmy wouldn't object to that talent!!!!

  • Awesome solo-sound

  • @discardmyfriends That kid..... Exactly, he is a 20 year old kid. Let him get a couple of years under his belt and he will be just as good as J.C. Remember, a 20 year old J.C. was no where near as good as a 35 year old J.C.
