QE2 1/1200 Scale Illuminated with fibre optics and LED's

This is a 1/1200 QE2 model kit, these are quite commonly available and are nice wee models when made up, but to make mine stand out I illuminated it with Led's and HALF millimeter fiber optics.

It was actually very difficult to try to fit in all the wiring etc. into such a small model. I hope you can see the small half mm fibers in the video it was tricky to shoot these small lights in the dark etc.

No i have not been on them, but my interest is that my late Uncle helped build all 3 liners.He helped install the exotic woods on the first 2 Queens and helped with the building of the QE2

wut happened to all the colourful lights like the ones on your QM2

There actually in there, it's just really, REALLY hard to video half millimeter fiber optics, but all the colours are there, i wish i knew a better way to video in the dark to show off the lights better but it's near impossible on something this small.
