** Lions are the only cats that live in groups, which are called prides. Prides are family units that may include up to three males, a dozen or so females, and their young. I don't like how they demean the male lion as if it does nothing for the pride. Of course I respect the lioness and love its agility and brillance but the male does the equal share of responsibilities in the pride... it shows it by it's life expectancy compared to the females
