I thought the HCI engines were designed with L-heads? This has OHV. Is this a redsign, an early prototype? I think the HCI engines are absolutely fascinating ideas but their web presence is sorely lacking (the website is spartan and not up to date, apparently). And yeah, I too have not seen a single on actually flying -- are there any?

Has this engine ever been installed/flown in an airplane? If not do you know of any that have?

7 cylinder is not a R180 (5 cyl) but a R220!
Very rare but i never see one aircraft fly with this interresting engines... (can be built at home)
