WWE got rid of blade jobs and bleeding because they were concerned about it being too disturbing and imappropriate for kids. Yet, they keep other more "disturbing" acts of violence like chair shots, ladder matches and spots, table spots, Hell in a cell matches and elimination chamber matches. This doesn't make much sense as those things are way more "violent" than the act of bleeding.

  • Another thing that baffles me is in some of the most-recent WWE games in the 'WWE SmackDown! VS. RAW' saga as pertains to the blood is in the 'Options' menu.; You can turn the blood on & off.

To use your words from this video, spinnernet1, "Think logically!".; I couldn't have said it, any better, myself.

  • @live4themoment94

At 'WWE Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2009', I heard people chanting "We want blood!... We want blood!..." during the Christian/Shelton Benjamin ladder match for the no-longer-valuable-and-extreme ECW Title & after one of them got busted open, the medical crew came out to clean him up, shortly afterwards & the crowd was booing & I don't blame 'em. (**At least we saw some TV-14 nostalgia, if not for the least of 15 seconds .**.).

  • "They have the younger demographic & it's too violent for the children.".; Of course they have the younger demographic because in Mid-2008, WWE begged their way to a PG rating & they've left their TV-14/18-36 male demographic in the dust. Even rvdtito4life will tell you that, too.

I've been saying it since Mid-2008!!!!

So, now, what's the 18-36/TV-14 male demographic watching?: WEC (**World Extreme Cage-Fighting.**.), Ring Of Honor, UFC, TNA & other independent pro wrestling promotions.

  • @1000gohead

Good going, Man.; The TV-14 rating in the WWE died in Mid-2008.

  • The very very last time i actually remember a blade job lately was at No Way Out 2009 when randy orton and shane mcmahon fought in a no holds barred match and Randy Orton bladed and lost a crap load of blood ever since then i have not seen a blade job :(

  • the last time i saw blood was at wrestlemania 27

  • this is older video but I have to say WWE is full of stupidity. I know they will do whatever it takes to earn money even if nothing whats going on on television holds the water.

  • Why isWWE supossedly bad for kids but then Law & Order is just fine and is allowed to show ALL the blood that they want?

i haven't heard ONE fucking parent complain about their kids being influenced by law & Order where they show blood and rape and murder!

if wwe hasto be toned down then we need to try to get rid of ALL basic cable voilence!

BTW, Law & Order is on USA...

The SAME network that hosts WWE Monday Night Raw!

  • @1000gohead

actually now it's "Kiddy Fun wrestle around Time"

next they'll have it moved to daytime cartoon network and have Hanah Montana as guest referee.
