  • yur playing like jazz on an ibanez? ibanez's are like, made for metal, unearth is a prime example

  • I play what I want to play, sometimes funky, sometimes hard rock, sometimes blues, sometimes metal.

But I don't like "Nu metal" or metal with low tunning..

You have a video response of myself trying to shred a little bit.

  • fair enough, and i personally dont like nu metal either, excluding slipknot. and does it still count as a low tuning if the guitar has 7 strings? but i still say it looks incredibly weird playing wut yur playing here on an RG, it just seems more suiting to a different guitar, more like wutever shape herman li's signature is

  • :) I've 15 guitars...

2 Rg's, 1 7string RG, 1 Ibanez Jem, PRS, LesPauls, Fender Strats and Teles... So... I just picked up one of my guitars, and play around, that was all :) It's funny to play metal on a telecaster and funky in a 7-string RG XD

In fact, this 7string RG is very versatile, you can play whatever you want on this ;)

    Thank you for you comment!

  • Tienes un Locking nut?, porque sin eso el Floyd Rose to quita de tuning no?

  • Yes It has a locking nut.

  • no guitars are made for anything its not the guitar that makes the music its the player you can take a fender (i wouldnt ever even touch a fender tho) and play some deathcore then take an ibanez and play some jazz or like steve vai, i dont hear him producing much "metal" and hes got ibanez and hes got his 7 string model (universe) so dont say hes wrong for playin this on an IBZ

  • A LOT of guitarists in metal use RG's, and it is incredibly easy to get a tone thats very good for metal out of them, and like i said before they are VERY versatile (i think i spelt that wrong) but are suited very well for metal

  • made for metal?

sorry to say, but you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • yeah, i agree on that well, any ibanez is very versitile, i have an sr405 bass, u can get any fucking sound out of it u want, however i still ibanez is best for metal, well not all of them, but for the most part, especially RG's
