@RuunKhuti I think the ancient Egyptians knew a lot more about science, medicine and human anatomy than we give them credit for. This is my personal opinion but I think the Ankh, the ancient Egyptian symbol for life, is really representing the moment the male sperm enters the female egg. The horizontal line represents the wall of the egg and the round shape and the vertical line is the sperm. As we all know, life begins when the sperm enters the egg! Hence the symbol of life.
