Lazer Awesome is actually just an update from the infamous Boston "Wicked Awesome" statement.

And when am I gonna get a Transformers Review of some sort? I know its a small line but with Botcon fast approaching and Revenge of the Fallen hitting theatres, it'd be cool to see your guys take on this small but strong contingent.

Transformers review? Hm. I don't read any of the titles, so any you would recommend? What about some of the other 'transforming robot genre' stuff like Robotech?

Actually, human origins are believed to be pinpointed at the Fertile Crescent which is near Mesopotamia and the Near East. Not quite Africa, but sort of in the neighborhood.  ;-)

They put fewer limits on themselves. They were not afraid to kill or attack governments. Of course, the governments of the world hit back many times, but until they defeated these attacks.

It was actually taking after the Nazi propaganda of WWII with Megatron being portrayed as the Hitler type leader. It's a good read if you want to get away from the typical TF storyline.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I know the writer of the series and got the beat on what he was going for before the arc even came out, so I guess thats why I like it.

I haven't read any transformer titles and I doubt I will but some of the "all hail megatron" variant covers are great, they have a USSR propoganda poster look

Your making the assumption that someone just wants to read one type of story and one type of comics.

Escapism is one valid form that I enjoy, but I also like (well-written) dark comics, horror, humour, war, slice-of-life, biographical, historical and other genres of comics.

The problem is with that generally there is one type of comic dominating the marketing and sales of the big 2 comics producers in america.

I've read All Hal Magetron and I felt like a retard! The story is lame it is writing so bad the art is OK but the overall is crap, I dropped it after the 7 issue, so U can't say I have not read it.
