  • i really dont get why people say "love is just a chemical reaction"............so?

    I mean why does it matter how or why it happens, it still feels the same. it doesnt make it any less real by knowing its all in the mind.

    Love can make your heart lift and make you see life through rose tinted glasses and it can also break you down and change you, so if its chemical or magical elfs putting it into your brain at night = its the same result.

Say we compare the differences of different animals, we can get an idea of what primary factors must be in play before secondary factors can contribute. We also can check out a variety of other chemical differences, like obvious ones like seretonin decrease and dopamine increase, which are associated with obsession and motivation. Love you Danny, you make my nerons FIRE!

  • I think these scientists approach this kind of thing from the wrong angle. Instead of focusing on proving theories about oxytocin and vasopenephrine or whatever it was (too lazy to go back and look), they should focus on the whole picture. Instead of "What happens when we increase oxytocin?" they should say, "These animals are in love! What is different about their brain chemistry now?" Because speculating on differences based off of one chemical shuts out many other insights that we (1 of 2)
