  • Wonderful video! So good to see you both healthy and well. I hope SAG members listen!

  • Thanks guys! Let's hope your efforts pay off and this horrible contract is voted down! The AMPTP needs to hear from the SAG membership that we are worth more than they think we are!

  • How many times do you do your job, come home, then expect to be paid for that same day of work over and over for a long time? Nuts to get paid over and over for a job you did only once...

  • I just now viewed this video. I hope the SAG and its members listened to what Frank and Ken had to say. Leave It To Beaver was on the air just a short while before I was born. I have enjoyed that show since childhood and even now, I dearly enjoy watching it. These veteran actors deserve something for the countless hours or great entertainment they have brought into our homes for decades. I don't know how this vote went, but I hope all has gone well for Frank, Ken, Jerry, Tony.

  • RESPECT YOUR ELDERS!!!

PAY THESE ICONS WHO PAVED THE WAY!!!!!

  • @hajune Actually it is a factory. And the producers were always the sole owners..that's why it's them who owns the copyright. If Chaplin had have lived to the modern age he would have been completely against residuals.

What you can argue is that the performers should get a bigger percentage of the cut the first time around.

  • Labor is always exploited. Without strong labor unions capitalism is nothing but misery except for the robber barons.

  • @azzorrow contd you from below,

because the technolodgy today did not exist then, i don't blame them at all but regretably it sounds like a david and goliath story and in every employment sector the big guy with the big pockets win, i think its a court battle that could last for years to me thy're doing the right thing i dont know if it will be worth the personal financial cost it may bring on them.

  • @helenofirvine it's not the current actors salarys that are at fault the tom cruises tom hanks of the world will only get paid what companies\ producers will allow, back in the fifties there was no such thing as residual payment for syndication now with the internet and dvd's i dont blame bank, dow or osmond trying to get a peice of the current technolodgy deal after all they may have been locked into the original tv deal signed when litb went into production todays tech excludes that .

  • who cares?

  • never get rid of any right ever. EVER

  • Just pay them for crying out loud! They earned it and America and the world loves them. Perhaps we need to start a boycott of their company products until they pay up?
