This guy is pathetic. I ran one for 5 years with no scale or leveler and the truckers were crying when I left. I was giving them 500 lbs plus or minus on just about every load.

i want to buy one in eu please help
-
is good driving, i might have raised the load while appraoching the tipper so you get a reading before you get to it.

nice driving there. final load drove in with boom high and leveled out in the body. i never found it necesary to drop the boom right down to get a new weight on the computer though

Horrible Driver

My dad is a tipper truck driver and when I was a kid during school holidays I would sometimes go for a ride in the truck with him.
One day at the quarry, we were watching another truck get loaded whilst we were waiting our turn to be loaded.
The shovel driver must have been having a bad day because he missed the tipper completely and tipped the bucketful right over the other side of the truck.
It was funny as hell to watch.

Sorry, didn't know you were a rookie.
You'll save alot of time if you forget about the scale. I didn't have one in my l150, it took a month and I was loading to within 500 pounds consistently. you must first master the art of getting the same FULL bucket every time.

this guy sucks. yeah it doesn't have alot of breakout force but a good operator can make it work well, i should know......22,000 hours in an l 150 still going.

..very slow hydraulics...

You should go straight for the truck and raise while approaching, saves a lot of time on a full day.
good driving there. i cant seem to get to grips with the flating of the load while its on the wagon. the old volovo i used never had a self leveling on too. keep the videos comming in

How long have you been driving em for? there is a knack to it, just gotta self level and bring it down slowly, then tilt bucket forward to do the side. just for presentation

i have been driving them on and off for around 3 years . i cant seem to get work on them now as this new CPCS thing has come into effect and i dont see why i should have to pay £1000 for a one day course when i have passed my NPORS using a loading shovel ( wheeled) oh and passed my CSCS

the licence situation sucks, they say it is for health and safety but it is nothing more than a money making drive as with most things these days. You drive them for quarry work? or on other sites?
