They should be a little more honest and make the unwary user aware of other things that could cause the same problems, like having a corrupted registry or badly fragmented drive. Also it would help to include some figures for minimum memory requirements. My own personal recommendations are 2GB for WinXP, 3GB for Vista/7 (32 bit) and 4GB for Vista/7 (64 bit), for basic use with some multitasking and casual gaming.
